Cascade West Investigations Law PLLC specializes in investigating allegations of student and employee misconduct with significant expertise investigating discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints filed under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975. We are trained in the 2020 Title IX regulations, enabling us to effectively investigate allegations of both student and employee sexual harassment and sexual violence. We also have experience conducting Title IX athletics interests and abilities as well as “laundry list” investigations.

This work includes investigating allegations of discrimination or harassment based on protected status (race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, etc.), retaliation, or other employee misconduct.

Cascade West Investigations Law PLLC offers customized training designed to address the unique organizational challenges and needs of each client. Past trainings include, but are not limited to, student and employee sexual harassment prevention; discrimination and harassment 101; protections for students with disabilities under Section 504, Title II, and the IDEA; and Title IX protections for pregnant and parenting students. With experience providing rulemaking support for the Title IX NPRM issued by the United States Department of Education in July 2022, our firm can provide guidance and insight to educational institutions in navigating the upcoming Title IX changes.
